Where did you two meet?
We met at church four years ago
Tell us about the proposal:
The man of my dreams proposed to me after taking me on a helicopter ride to a romantic picnic in the Columbia Gorge On May 30th
Tell us about your perfect day:
OMGoodness, seriously the best day of my life. The drive up to Mt St Helens was so foggy and I was so worried that we wouldnt be able to see anything or the humidity and fog would make my hair flat :( but we got to the top and it was gorgeous. I couldnt have asked for a more lovely scenery to get married. We had 9 people attend the wedding, including the officient. I had embroidered jean jackets to hand out to our family and my mom played a special song she found just for us. Afterward we stopped at a burger place at the base of the mountain and they had a jukebox where we had our first dance to the song my mom played. (we just got our first house and her house warming gift included a verse from the chorus of that song. its become very special to us both.) Then we said good bye and left for our honeymoon! Everything about this day was perfection. we were so increadibly happy and blessed.
What advice would you give future brides?
Two things: when you marry, you should focus on how you can fill your husband's needs as his wife - not how he is filling your needs. It is not your job to fix him, that is between him and God, be patient and LOVE him through it, support him and respect him and the changes will happen
