Where did you two meet?
We met in our home town through his sister (Madalene Gilmour). We also both have the same first name, it was bound to happen! 

Tell us about the proposal:
During our friends wedding, one year prior, he asked me to marry him during the bouquet toss! The bride selflessly shared her big day with me by handing me the bouquet. When I turned around, he was on one knee! 

Tell us about your perfect day:

(We love details!!) We were able to get married at the same place we got engaged, in front of friends and family. The day of was perfect and made the year of planning so worth it! I woke up and worked out with my girlies to release some anxiety. We spent the morning in comfy band Tshirts listening to our favorite music. I also had my dog, Jack, a part of every moment of the day. We are animal lovers and it meant so much to me to have Jack with me. 

What advice would you give future brides?

Include your dog, if you can! Give your friends and family specific tasks to help you out. Keep an ongoing to-do list in Google docs to share with your wedding planner and spouse. Don't sweat the small stuff!
