Where did you two meet?

Jesse and I went to the same college and both graduated with a degree in Music Education. We became friends in the Oregon Marching Band. 

Tell us about the proposal:

Jesse proposed at a park that we would walk in often! He designed the ring with a local jeweler in Beaverton based on a ring I found on a cruise and fell in love with. 

Tell us about your perfect day:

We got married on the evening of July 11th surrounded by family. We chose lavender and sage green but kept the decorations simple because Aurora Colony Vineyards is so pretty on its own. It was so fun to spend the day with family, and we left for a honeymoon in Eastern Oregon two days later. 

What advice would you give future brides?

If you can't afford a day of planner, make sure that you plan out all of the day's details and put it in some sort of binder. Including asking friends or family members to do specific jobs.  had someone to get ice, and a different person to set up games. This kept everybody low stress because nobody was confused about what they should be doing. The more small details that are thought of beforehand, the less stress the day will be. 

Why did you choose Crown Bridal?

I was floored by the experience from the beginning. I really felt like I was being guided towards the right dress. The owner was so kind and so knowledgeable and really understood how to include my budgetary requests!
