Our Bride Bernadette Brady Reed – Molalla, OR

Where did you two meet? – We met at the University of Oregon during Fall term of junior year, Go Ducks! 

Tell us about the proposal! – Wyatt proposed to me in our home the morning of the first snow in December 2022. He had planned to wait until our 7 year anniversary 2 weeks later but was taken by the special moment of early December snow and decided to do it that morning while it was just the two of us having a slow Sunday.

Tell us about your perfect day! (We love details!!) – It was perfect and so incredibly special to have our wedding at the Molalla family property. We spent months preparing the land for our wedding and we were finally able to enjoy all of the beauty that had come out of hard work and natural summer greenery. So many of our friends and family members came to celebrate with us, making it that much more special. The day was a whirlwind and went by so fast, but there were countless little moments that we will cherish forever. 

What advice would you give future brides? – Make your day what YOU want it to be, not what any one else wants it to be. Everyone will have a good time regardless and it will be more important for you to feel comfortably and happy with the final product. Do not feel bad if the day sped right by and it was hard to take it all in, that is normal!! I was so nervous the next morning because I could barely remember anything because it was such a surreal day, but the memories started flowing after my body and brain were able to calm down for a bit.

Why did you choose Crown Bridal? – I chose Crown Bridal because I parked in front of their store front when they were still located in Downtown Vancouver and was in awe of the dresses in the window. I was very happy when the experience I had there was just as perfect as the dresses in the window that day. I had my best dress shopping experience with Crown Bridal and obviously, ultimately found my dress there!
