In late 2019 Kynda and Todd opened the doors to Crown Bridal located in Vancouver, Washington. Since then, the boutique has been recognized by The Best of Clark County, The Downtown Vancouver Association, Wedding Wire and The Knot. Crown Bridal has become one of the top 3 Bridal Salons as well as being recognized as one of thirty five Exclusive Morilee Boutiques in the United States. Crown Bridal is also recognized as an exclusive Randy Fenoli retailer in the Pacific Northwest! Our staff takes the time to curate every aspect of details including formal wear, accessories, alteration specialists, and expedited 5 Star service. Crown Bridal features MoriLee by Madeline Gardner, Randy Fenoli Bridal, Full Service Formal Wear for Him by Jim’s Formal Wear, and a Crown Bridal Couture Private Label Gown Collection for those unique bride inspired gowns.

What makes Crown Bridal unique?
My vision for Crown Bridal is ever changing. The single constant is ….intimacy. I know as a newly engaged bride to be, emotions run high, childhood hopes and dreams become a reality and the journey should be something very special. We understand there are no two brides alike and our inventory reflects the constant demand for this versatility. We cater to all budgets and timelines, providing professional seasoned experienced curators specializing in design, creativity and vast knowledge of our designers collections. We take pride in the impact we make in our community and look forward to sharing this experience with everyone who enters our doors. The bridal industry is an amazing roller coaster of a ride and I couldn’t imagine my life outside of it now. It is truly the most full-filling and rewarding experience anyone could be so blessed to do for a living.
What do you like about owning a bridal salon?
My favorite part of working in this industry is having the opportunity to meet and work with brides and their families. I enjoy exploring all avenues of what makes brides feel beautiful, confident, and empowered on their wedding day! I am always intrigued by their vision and wedding day dreams.
What advice would you give to engaged brides when searching for their “Dream Dress”?
Breathe. Take your time. Find that place that listens and that you connect with. A place that’s not going to focus on the purchase of the gown or the deadlines of the event but rather you and your vision. It should be fun, and it should be exciting, and it should be a journey that from beginning to end is enjoyable. And if it becomes anything but that, then it’s time to step back and re-evaluate when and where you lost sight of that goal. Just take your time and make sure you’re making the right decisions. 9 times out of 10 that gown isn’t going anywhere, despite what some will tell you. Just breathe.
Todd: Co-Owner
I started this venture with Kynda making a dream come true for the both of us owning a business. I had just retired from Hewlett Packard here in Vancouver, WA after 25 years as a systems engineer specializing in resource management, project budgeting, consulting, and forecasting operational expenses. A light went off as we were presented with this opportunity with the right pieces falling into place for a bridal business. Together we decided to go into the bridal business and this how Crown Bridal was born. I am a people person and enjoy the people in this industry. Also, for the beautiful fact that this business is part of each couple’s journey (especially the bride) through life and a happy and memorable time for them. I love being a part of that. Kynda loves being part of that. Just read our reviews. We are in the business of making this a beautiful and happy experience. After all, I believe that our legacy as people are the memories we leave behind with family, friends and loved ones. We are so thankful and blessed to be in a business that is a wonderful moment in time on one’s journey through life.

What do you love most about working with brides?
Watching their faces light up when they find a garment that makes them glow, twirl and feel like the most confident versions of themselves. I also love hearing tales of how they met and fell in love with their fiance. Being a bride to be are the times you’ll always remember and cherish. I love being apart of the whole experience, helping women find a gown that will last forever in their wedding photos.
What advice would you give a bride who walks into Crown Bridal for the first time?
Expect the unexpected! Sometimes the first dress you put on is the ONE. Sometimes its a dress you never would have ever imagined yourself wearing. Maybe you are a gal who rocks a veil down the aisle. Maybe you are a glitzy glam queen after all. Bring pictures on your phone that evoke inspiration for the visuals on your wedding day. Wear some shape wear or neutral colored underwear, and water proof mascara. (For the happy tears) And come ready to have a fun time and create memories with loved ones.
How would your coworkers best describe you?
Enthusiastic, colorful. Weird, in a good way! I like to laugh and joke, so I hope you do too.
